Vacation!!

We spend some time up on the San Juan Islands (Ok, so it was Whidbey Island. It sounds fancier to say the San Juans) for a vacation. John and I drove the country roads and went to the beach and we went and checked out Fort Casey. For Casey was used from 1890 to 1929. It was built into the side of a cliff and is invisible from the water. (It became obsolete with the use of planes in WWII as it CAN be seen from the sky.)There are places to climb and tunnels to check out and old cannons. It was pretty cool. You also have an amazing view of the Sound from there. You can see it all!
