Today after church I drove by the Yakima Fruit Stand and what did my little eyes see? LOCAL STRAWBERRIES IN NOW! Oh, what little bites of heaven in a low-cal treat!
The sweet, soft, juicy ripe (on the vine!) strawberries. I picked up two little cartons for $5 as well as some peaches, a watermelon, onions, and a mango.

Corn is NY's state veggie. Apple is the state fruit. (Don't tell New Yorkers this, but they're not the state the grows the most apples. Also, corn is not a vegetable, it's a grain.)
