Spring Mini-Break in Pullman

On Tuesday, after work, John and I went on a road trip.

He knew where we were going. I did not.

We ended up in Pullman. This is awesome for two reasons. 1. John is going at the end of April with his mom and sister to tour the school for Future Cougar Day, and I can't go because they're leaving on a Friday and I am taking the following Friday and Saturday off of work to attend my church's Woman's Retreat. I was pretty bummed, and SO glad that John took me! #2, It has been 4 years since we last left our Alma Mater. And not too much has changed. However, Cougar Country does advertisements on tv now.

When we got into town it was a clear and beautiful day. We stopped in Ellensburg earlier for a late lunch at Wnedy's and to get gas int he car. Our hotel of choice was booked up (probably people checking out the campus during their Spring Break.) so we stayed at one down the street. We ate a dinner at our favorite WINGERS in Moscow Idaho, unfortunately the discontinued my favorite salad. :( Sticky fingers still just as good though. :)

We rested at our hotel and then went to a late night showing of the Hunger Games at the same Cineplex we had our first movie date at. Only then, we saw the Spongebob Movie.

In the morning we wake up to a blanket of snow so after taking some time on campus and a stop at Crimson and Grey for a new sweatshirt we head on back to Seattle.

Stopping at the Thorp Fruit Stand on the way home for some taffy, and at the outlet mall in North Bend and then we were home. It was so fun!
